Abstract

For 20 years, there have been several situations in his life when he has reacted with epilepsy-like symptoms: First, when he has been frightened. Second, when he has felt strong emotions such as fear, sadness, fatigue or even euphoria. And, interestingly, also and especially strongly when the hamstring reflex test was performed during examinations. Once the causative event was found 20 years ago, the symptoms could be successfully resolved afterwards.

Description

The triggers Thiscas is from a participant of our "Practical course resolving allergies". Even though it was not an "allergy" in the classical sense, it was based on the exact identical mechanisms: For 20 years there had been various situations in the participant's life in which he had reacted with epilepsy-like symptoms, which was a great strain. On the one hand, when he was frightened. On the other hand, when he felt strong emotions such as fear, sadness, fatigue or even euphoria. And interestingly, also and especially strong when the hamstring reflex test was performed during examinations. Neurological examinations, physiotherapy, magnesium and other food supplements did not bring any improvement. The symptoms The symptoms were mainly spasms of the back and neck muscles, jaw and face, bronchial muscles with "Ah" sounds, and arm muscles with twisting movements. The casual biological conflict Since he had several massively bad experiences at the time before the allergy developed, his suspicion was always that it had to do with these. However, the symptoms pointed to another event, because: It must have been a situation in which he suddenly had the feeling of failing in his movements, of losing control, of not being able to perform the movements with the affected muscles - like the twisting movements with the arms. Because the cramps occur in the epi-crisis of the special programs of the skeletal muscles. In response to this question, the conflicting causative event was quickly found: He had a bad car accident 20 years ago. On a winding road, he suddenly noticed that he lost control of the car due to a technical defect in the brake force distribution system, which led to an unexpected and inexplicable swerving of the rear end. Thus, he could no longer steer effectively (twisting movements of the arms during the spasms), could not hold himself in the seat because of the subsequent frontal impact, where he was thrown forward (back muscles and neck). In addition, he felt the sudden fright (bronchial muscles with "Ah" sounds). The symptoms correspond exactly to the movements he could not perform successfully at that moment. And what was stored as a trigger, so called track, where in the future the symptoms always occurred? First, pressure on the patellar tendon because of strong braking (right) and pushing off (left), so that later in life this triggered the symptoms particularly strongly. Then the strong emotions - from euphoria because of the speedy and pleasantly fun cornering to sudden panic and fear because of the loss of control - as well as a sudden fright. It is absolutely impressive how precisely it can be seen here how the tracks were stored and which muscle groups react. Resolution Once the cause was found and understood, the resolution was pretty simple in principle. First he decoupled the emotion rails over some time. In appropriate situations he always made himself aware that the causal situation with the accident happened a long time ago and that here and now there is no longer any danger of an accident, but that everything is safe. There is no longer any danger of losing control of anything and he has his musculature fully under control. The stored rails are now no longer necessary as an alarm signal. After the symptoms have been reduced more and more, he had at some point the confidence to also perform the dreaded knee reflex test and thereby also perform his resolving experiment again - now also completely without symptoms 🙂
